Our Production Process

At Best Gym Wears, our production process is built around one simple goal: turning your product idea into finished apparel that matches your approved specifications.

From the initial brief and product development to fabric selection, sampling, cutting, stitching, quality checks, packaging, and shipment, each stage follows a clear workflow. Whether you are launching a new clothing line, expanding an existing collection, or preparing a bulk order, we work with your design, sizing, branding, material, and packaging requirements from start to finish.

1. Understanding Your Product Requirements

Every production order starts with a clear understanding of what you want to create.

We discuss the product type, design references, preferred fit, sizing, colors, materials, branding details, order quantity, and packaging requirements before development begins. If you already have a tech pack or reference sample, it can be used as the starting point for production.

For brands that require woven labels, hang tags, care labels, or other branded details, our custom labels and tags options can be incorporated into the production brief.

A detailed brief at this stage helps reduce confusion later and gives both sides a clear reference throughout the project.

2. Design Development & Sampling

Once the requirements are defined, we move into product development.

Depending on the project, this may include reviewing your existing artwork, preparing design details, confirming measurements, planning logo placement, selecting colors, and defining garment construction.

Before bulk production, a sample can be developed so you can review important details such as:

  • Overall design and appearance

  • Fit and sizing

  • Fabric choice

  • Stitching and construction

  • Logo placement

  • Labels and trims

  • Color accuracy

  • Finishing details

The sampling stage gives you an opportunity to review the product before moving forward with a larger order.

3. Fabric & Material Selection

The right material plays an important role in how a garment looks, feels, stretches, performs, and holds its shape.

Fabric selection depends on the type of product being manufactured and the intended use of the garment. Different products may require different combinations of softness, durability, stretch, breathability, weight, or moisture management.

You can explore our available fabrics for custom apparel production to better understand the material options that can be considered for your collection.

Along with the main fabric, we also review relevant trims, elastics, zippers, labels, drawcords, and other components required for the finished product.

4. Pattern Making & Size Development

After the design and material requirements are confirmed, patterns are prepared according to the approved specifications.

Pattern making defines the shape, dimensions, panel construction, seam placement, and overall fit of the garment. When multiple sizes are required, the pattern is graded into the approved size range.

This stage is important because accurate patterns provide the foundation for consistent cutting, stitching, and garment assembly during production.

5. Fabric Cutting

Once the patterns are finalized, the selected fabric moves to the cutting stage.

Each garment panel is cut according to the approved pattern and size specifications. Careful cutting helps maintain consistency between pieces and supports accurate assembly during stitching.

Attention is given to panel alignment, dimensions, and material usage so that the cut components are ready for the next stage of production.

6. Stitching & Garment Assembly

The cut fabric panels are then sent for stitching and assembly.

Garment construction varies depending on the product, fabric, design, and intended use. Different seam types and stitching methods may be used based on the construction requirements of each garment.

During assembly, approved elements such as labels, trims, logos, panels, pockets, waistbands, cuffs, or other product-specific details are added according to the production specifications.

The goal at this stage is to ensure that the finished garment follows the approved construction and design.

7. In-Process Quality Checks

Quality control is not limited to the end of production.

Checks are carried out during manufacturing so that potential inconsistencies can be identified before the garments move to final inspection.

Depending on the product, in-process checks may include:

  • Garment measurements

  • Stitching consistency

  • Seam construction

  • Panel alignment

  • Logo and artwork placement

  • Label positioning

  • Color consistency

  • General workmanship

Carrying out checks during production helps maintain greater consistency across the order.

8. Final Inspection & Finishing

Once garment assembly is complete, the finished products are reviewed against the approved specifications.

The final inspection focuses on areas such as sizing, construction, stitching, branding, appearance, finishing, and overall order consistency.

Loose threads and other finishing details are checked before the garments are prepared for packing.

9. Packaging & Shipping

After the products have completed the required quality checks, they are prepared for packaging.

Packaging requirements can be coordinated according to the order and branding needs, including labels, tags, individual packing, and other agreed presentation details.

Once packing is complete, the order is prepared for shipment to the customer’s destination.
